Ready -Set- Going -Going Over and back up again !

Well, we got the canoe out for about the second time this year but it was not because the river water level was back up (which it is by the way).

Had to wax the bottom to make it slide OK and we just couldn't pass up the chance. Yes the two of us went down a couple of times, once with the same outcome, one upright.

Finally Snow At Riverview Manse

There have been minor dustings over the last 3 winters that we have lived here but as I write we are in the middle of what we would term 'real snow'. Still snowing so it will be 12"-20" or so before it stops. Great snow !...now we can move !

Warren Otis Wagner

Warren Otis Wagner, born today November 1st, All Saints Day 2008

Born this morning, a little early but right on time eh ? ..at 7 pounds.

Mother, Warren and Nick are all fine and are at the hospital in there own room where Warren will stay with Mom and Dad until they are released (Sunday?)

Margaret is now in Asheville with EllaRose for a couple of days.

This all came about this morning starting with a call from Nick around 830a. Margaret left for Asheville around 930a and I got a call from her at 11a with the good news.

That's all we know for now but of course you'll hear and see more !
